What’s it all about

Serving espresso since 1988, Tinderbox are one of the best loved coffee bars in Glasgow. With several located around the city, you’ll be sure to find one on your travels, be it the West End, Merchant City, Princes Square, and even on the concourse of Queen St Station. They’re welcoming spaces, with great music, friendly staff and a reliably good cuppa. What’s more, they’re all within cycling distance of each other!

Their unique house blend is roasted just for them, right here in Glasgow. On top of that, it’s Rainforest Alliance certified, meaning you can be sure that you’re supporting sustainable business practices.

Tinderbox is as much a part of Glasgow as the city is part of us. We started on Byres Road – right down the street from the Botanic Gardens. We aim for sustainability and local benefits in everything we do, so diverting our coffee grounds to help the Botanics grow and thrive is a no-brainer. We had to be involved.’
