What’s it all about

The Tearoom at the Botanics can be found right in the heart of Glasgow’s Botanic Gardens near the historic Kibble Palace, in the former curator’s house. Not only is this an ideal venue for cycling to and strolling around, it’s perfect for enjoying teatime treats. The delicious coffee from local suppliers is the perfect accompaniment to the cake stands laden with delicious goodies.

Why not treat yourself to a freshly baked scone with jam and clotted cream or a full afternoon tea?

‘We’re supporting this campaign because we are aware of the waste created by our industry and are keen to embrace any improvements that positively impact the environment. This campaign is perfect as it will reduce our waste and contribute to growing plants in a carbon negative solution.

As a catering partner of the UCI Cycling World Championships, we are committed to providing sustainable services. Having large-scale venues like The Emirates Arena and Kelvingrove Art Gallery among the venues taking part in Grounds for Recycling is a step in the right direction.’
