Tantrum Doughnuts
Handcrafted doughnuts
What’s it all about
Tantrum Doughnuts have become a Glasgow institution for doughnut fans and lovers of sweet treats. Now with three locations around the city, you’ll find an assortment of fresh, handmade doughnuts (including vegan options), milkshakes, homemade marshmallows, and great coffee, supplied by Grounds for Recycling partner, Papercup Coffee Company.
Tantrum Doughnuts pride themselves on making everything from scratch and using high quality ingredients to do so. They focus on using fresh, seasonal ingredients, while partnering with local producers such as Corrie Mains Farms for their free-range eggs and Blackthorn Scottish Sea Salt from Ayr.
With three different styles of dough including the signature brioche, old fashioned cake style and a vegan brioche, you’ll have a tough time choosing one of the 17 different flavours on offer!
‘We’re always keen to reduce waste, whether it be food and/or packaging. It’s going to be an exciting time for Glasgow as host of the UCI Cycling World Championships and we’re happy to be a part of ‘Grounds for Recycling’. It gives us the opportunity to showcase the local independent coffee scene and the iconic Botanic Gardens, while eliminating waste and highlighting the need for new methods to deal with coffee grounds.’
– Anna Stevens, General Manager, Tantrum Doughnuts
